Pakistan On Indian Diplomat Book: Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry on Thursday (January 12) reacted to the recent book by Ajay Bisaria, a former Indian diplomat. He termed the book as a means of bashing Pakistan before the Lok Sabha elections in India. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mumtaz Zehra Baloch was answering a question about a book by Ajay Bisaria, former Indian High Commissioner to Pakistan.
On being asked the question, Baloch said that he has neither seen nor read the book, but has noticed some news reports in the media and some interesting comments about the book. He said, “The next Lok Sabha Elections As India is getting closer, it is not surprising that jingoistic and militaristic stories bashing Pakistan are now being spread there.”
Condition of Pakistan who caught Abhinandan
Ajay Bisaria, who was the High Commissioner to Pakistan from 2017 to 2019, has thrown light on various aspects of India-Pakistan relations since independence in his book ‘Anger Management: The Troubled Diplomatic Relationship between India and Pakistan’. He revealed through his book that the condition of Pakistan, which captured Indian Air Force pilot Abhinandan, became very bad when India turned its 9 missiles towards it. Apart from this, he also reacted on Balakot airstrike.
The situation was such that if Pakistan had not released Abhinandan, India would have fired all 9 missiles at him. Pakistani Foreign Ministry declared everything written in the book as wrong. He said that we are surprised how a former diplomat can write like this? However, the whole world knows what Pakistan’s image is in terms of terrorism.
PM Modi rejected Imran Khan’s request
Pakistan is a haven for terrorists. Despite this, he termed the Pulwama attack as a drama. However, the responsibility of the Pulwama attack on 14 February 2019 was taken by Jaish-e-Mohammed, the terrorist organization of India’s most wanted terrorist Masood Azhar based in Pakistan. Apart from this, Indian diplomat Ajay Bisaria has written in the book that after the capture of Abhinandan, Pakistan was extremely frightened by India’s threat.
After this, the then High Commissioner of Pakistan Sohail Mahmood called him at midnight and said that PM Imran Khan wanted to talk to Prime Minister Modi. Although, he informed about this in Delhi, but PM Modi Imran Khan Had refused to talk to.
